Project overview
The West Link project scheme is an 8 kilometres long double track railway of which 6 kilometres are within a tunnel beneath the city of Gothenburg. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the multi-million-euro development, which also involves the creation of three new underground stations, will increase accessibility to the city, boost capacity and improve travel times.
Siltbuster Solution
Siltbuster deployed 3No. integrated iHB40R chemical treatment systems and 3No. modular automated packages to process the waste tunnelling water – providing a total treatment capacity of circa 160m3/hr across the Gothenburg region.
