Welcome to Siltbuster
Surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, Siltbuster HQ is proudly located just outside Monmouth in sunny Wales.
Our bespoke built facility was completed in 2017 and sits within 10 acres of land, purposely designed to perfectly incorporate and boost our capabilities, our future plans and to ensure a smooth and efficient operation throughout. Furthermore, it was also carefully developed with the environment, sustainability and our core values in mind.
We are extremely proud of our ‘state of the art’ facilities, as well as our exceptional team of engineers, scientists, operational specialists and valuable support staff – all bringing a wealth of experience, expertise and capabilities, making Siltbuster what we are: a renown and trusted market leader within water treatment.
In-house Laboratory
Siltbuster’s in-house laboratory is run by a team of skilled technicians that have a wealth of experience in determining the chemical and physical characteristics of samples from all business sectors.
A range of analytical testing suites are available to support the client and technical teams through the feasibility and design stages of individual projects as well as on-going compliance and maintenance testing.
Research and Development
Siltbuster takes a collaborative, applied approach to R&D working closely with academics and industry partners to ensure high-quality research outputs in several subject areas relating to water treatment.
Our teams of scientists, engineers and CAD technicians work closely together to design bespoke treatment systems for the more challenging waste streams, on developing existing products and the designing, building and testing of new ideas through bench, pilot and full-scale testing at our on-site facilities.
Assembly Workshop and Stores
Our bespoke ‘state of the art’ assembly workshop boosts designated and fully equipped areas for assembly, development and testing – all accessible for our two crane overhead gantry system with lifting capacity for even the heaviest of our systems.
The Siltbuster workshop is conveniently linked with our Stores, which carries a substantial stock of spares – allowing for quick response and deployment times.
Control Panel Workshop
By designing and building our electrical control panels in-house, we have complete control over the process with the flexibility to accommodate any non-standard requirements or new treatment systems. Each component and completed panel are tested extensively by our specialist panel technician team before being integrated into our solutions.
Design & Production
Working closely across all our departments, our design engineers play an important role from the very first innovative design or project enquiry through to a new Siltbuster system or a major modular project overview plan – all executed with great attention to detail and on time!
Fleet Management
Fleet management and logistics are made easy with our dedicated team – all specialists in the world of fleet services, transport requirements, contracts management and after-sales/hire service. The team delivers a fantastic service to our clients as well as invaluable support to our operations.
The Siltbuster Yard
Not only do we have acres of operational space, but the overall layout is also carefully planned to ensure an efficient running of the yard, including dedicated areas for loading/off-loading, outdoor testing and developments, storage and stock of various treatment elements, state of the art wash bay and system preparations and testing before dispatch and other.
The yard is also home to plenty of wildlife with our own mini-lake and over 10,000 trees, bushes and plants planted as part of our environmental commitment.
