Background
Hogan Group are an independent group of companies based in North Wales, supplying a wide range of services and products to the construction and building sectors. One of their companies Hogan Concrete has been manufacturing and supplying premium quality concrete materials, for projects of all types and sizes, since the 1980s.
The Overall Objective
Hogan Concrete required a suitable low-cost system that will enable them to treat high pH and solid laden water before safe discharge to a nearby watercourse under the NRW permit conditions.
Solution
Following a site visit, Siltbuster provided a pHD unit which was used in conjunction with 2 skips. The pHD unit has enabled Hogan to achieve consistent pH levels to ensure treated water discharged was neutralised and subsequently would not harm the surrounding environment.
