Background
During the construction of civil works at the American Embassy site in London by O’Keefe Contractors, solid laden water along with free phase hydrocarbon was encountered onsite.
The Overall Objective
Siltbuster were tasked with dealing with two problems, the first was to remove suspended solids from the water onsite and secondly to remove the hydrocarbon to allow for safe discharge offsite.
Solution
Siltbuster installed its HB50-OWS (Oil Water Separator), to effectively treat the suspended solids and remove the free phase hydrocarbon by skimming it off and safely capturing it before removal from site.
