Background

Henry Construction were carrying out construction works to build a number of apartments in West London.

The Overall Objective

During the construction work large concrete pours with up to 20 concrete trucks per day distributing the concrete onsite, therefore leading to the requirement for a treatment solution to deal with the concrete wash water.

Solution

Siltbuster installed an RCW unit to fulfill their obligations under the Environment Agency’s Regulatory Position Statement (RPS) ‘Managing concrete wash waters on construction sites’ and ensure the water was suitable for safe discharge.
