T & M Cable Services Construction Works

Client:T & M Cable Services
Discharge Point:Nearby Brook
Flow Rate:50m³/hr

Background

T & M Cable Services were constructing Excavations were required to lay new cables into a recently constructed switch gear room. Due to the proximity of a nearby brook, groundwater was encountered due to the excavation work being deeper than the base of the brook.

The Overall Objective

The client had a requirement to de-water the excavations and treat waters laden with suspended solids.

Solution

Siltbuster installed its HB50 unit onsite with a 6” pump which enabled flows up to 50m³/hr. As a result of this work, the Environment Agency approved the treated water to be discharged back into the brook based on the Regulatory Position Statement.
