Jaguar Land Rover car park construction

Client:Dunton Environmental
Discharge Point:Nearby Brook
Flow Rate:40-80m³/hr

Background

Jaguar Land Rover tasked Dunton Environmental with the construction of a new storage car park at one of their sites in the UK.

The Overall Objective

During construction there was the requirement to treat 40-80m3/hr of site run off containing a high concentration of slow settling solids.

Solution

Dunton Enviromental used one of Siltbusters containerised chemical dosing system to improve the settlement characteristics of the suspended solids. This was used in conjunction with two Siltbuster HB50 lamella clarifiers to capture and store the solids before the water was discharged to a nearby brook.

A containerised chemical dosing system was used in this application to ensure the security of the chemicals and dosing pumps, whilst enabling the system to be installed at the far end of the site in small footprint.
